Bernadette Eichas RN, CCRN, Dipl. OM, LAc

Bernadette graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester Massachusetts with a Master’s of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine with Japanese styles. She is a National Board certified Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist.

Bernadette began her journey into healthcare as a Registered Nurse, graduating with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from The College at Brockport SUNY in 2011. She has worked in various settings at the hospital and continues to work at UMass.

Watching her mother going through cancer treatment was a critical point for Bernadette and made her reexamine what health is and the role of healthcare in the journey through an illness. After experiencing first-hand the benefits of Acupuncture and Herbal treatment, Bernadette knew that a comprehensive and holistic approach would help her best serve patients. She is excited to implement an integrated Western and Eastern approach to help her patients achieve their unique and individual goals. Bernadette served as the Interdisciplinary Professional Education Liaison while attending the New England School of Acupuncture, initiated the first Acupuncture and Pharmacology Interdisciplinary Student Clinic in the country for patients attending the student clinic, and attended Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine clinic rotations at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland Ohio.
